The mechanism of antimicrobial activity involves damage to DNA, to proteins and to membrane lipids due to hydroxyl radicals and free radicals.

When the hydrogen peroxide is released as dry fog, the particles circulating in the air, adhere to the microorganisms of the air and surfaces, inactivating them.
